CRM to Portal Functionality

I have been running Portal for about a year and now it seems like some of the functions have stopped working like default groups and permissions for signed up users. Now it wont let me edit Opportunities in Suite for users such as sales stage. Please assist if anyone can. Thank you.

I will suggest to include more information for others to have a better understanding of your situation. Please include your version of PHP and SuiteCRM.

There appears to be a Permission issue which we cant resolve. Any Opportunity which has a relationship to a User or Contact can not be edited unless we remove the relationship. We have reviewed the permissions and cant find the issue. Even as admin this is the case.
