Creating new record with API

I am having trouble with creating a new Accounts record in the CRM with the API. I am successfully creating the new record however, the API is returning NULL instead of the new record ID. I am only have this problem when creating an Account record. All other modules, including custom return the new ID.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
