creating a note

Hi,
I don’t see the option to create a note on the create screen. Should the user just create a case?

Please always say your version of SuiteCRM on every thread, it really helps.

You say “Create screen” but that doesn’t describe a screen for me. Where exactly are you?

usually when i want to create a note i do it from the relevant account \ opportunity
and down the screen you have history sub panel -> create note or attachment

You still haven’t said your SuiteCRM version, which means maybe I’m wasting my time testing things on code that is not even the same code you’re running… :frowning:

I go in Accounts detail view, press “Add note or attachment”, type the subject field, save, and it creates the Note correctly.

I go in Opportunities detail view, press “Add note or attachment”, type the subject field, save, and it creates the Note correctly.
