create quote from accounts detail view - weird behavior

If an admin user clicks the create button from the Quotes sub panel on the accounts detail view, the full form quote edit view loads up with prefilled values of the current account. Which is exactly what I want. But if I do the same for a regular user, the quick create loads instead without any account information prefilled. In addition, the line items do not work on quick create. No errors in logs or console. Has anyone experienced this? I’m on version 7.2.1.

We’d definitely recommend upgrading to a newer version as you’re on 7.2.1, but in the first instance is your user in any particular roles/groups?

Do you have customisations that could be causing issues?

Yes I found an obscure customization that I did not see the first time I looked through for one! Thanks for the help.
