I am reviewing SuiteCRM 7.11.8 as a replacement CRM for my company’s use. I am trying to find how to make an event repeat or recur as a part of the create task/event function.
I have searched through the forums and the best I can get is it is a schedule task function that requires some workflow to make it all happen.
You are right, there is no recurrence in these modules. I agree it would be useful, although of course it can be emulated with some workflows or custom code.
Another option you might want to consider is the Google Calendar integration. I actually never thought of this before, but I wonder if you could just get Google Calendar to handle the recurrence, and then have SuiteCRM just sync that information. This would have to work with the Calendar module (meetings), not Tasks.
