Hi All,

My business process of contract management is as follows:

  1. Create a contract for a customer with a line item as a product.
  2. As soon as the contract is signed, product is booked and is not available to other customers

Is this a functionality that SuiteCRM supports out of the box? Is suiteCRM implemented to allow numerous contracts to be made for a single product/

But in my current installation of SuiteCRM, after the contract is signed, suiteCRM allows creating another contract with same line item?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Yes and No.

The line items work as you say above but it will not stop another user from going in and creating a line item for the same product for a different contact. you would need to do code customisations to make it do this.
