Contact opted out of campaign by not marked in contact record

Hello,

I’m running email campaigns using SuiteCRM Version 7.4.3. Some recipients have clicked the opt-out link and they are listed in the campaign Opted Out subpanel. However, the contact records for those people don’t appear to have the email addresses listed as opted-out (they’re not crossed out).

I am using Email Campaigns as opposed to Email Newsletters, which I understand should behave as described above.

Is this the intended behaviour? I think previously SuiteCRM marked email addresses as opted-out in the contact records, and would then exclude them from future campaigns.
