Configure email questions

Hello everyone, I want to configure email server in version 8.6 of SuiteCRM.Admin users have setup module, why not regular users, thank you.

What do you mean? Only admin users could set up email but everyone could use emails module on the CRM.

The first screenshot shows suiteCRM UserGuide Managing User Accounts, and the second screenshot shows the email setup screen for regular users, missing the Mail Accounts TAB.

That’s not how you setup email in 7.13+ any more. The documentation really needs an update.

The documentation on how to add an Oauth email account is closer to what you need to do, just select “basic auth” if you are not setting up Oauth.
