Module: Contacts → Activities Subpanel → Compose Email
Version: SuiteCRM 7.14
Browser: Chrome/Edge (latest)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Contacts module
- Go to Activities subpanel
- Click dropdown → Compose Email
- In Compose Email modal, click Attach Files
- Cancel the file picker
Observed Behavior:
- After canceling the file picker, modal disappears or partially hidden.
- Custom JS override not loading in console.
Expected Behavior:
- Modal should stay visible and responsive after cancelling file picker.
Attempts to Fix:
- Custom JS override on compose-email.js with console logs
- Quick Repair & Rebuild
- Browser cache clear
Impact:
- Users cannot reliably attach files in Compose Email modal in subpanels
- Workflow interrupted
