Implementation/Configuration Question

I would like to create a list of commonly used website resources. Basically, vendors that I frequently use so i can quickly access their websites.

The alternatives I’ve come across it to create a seperate account for each vendor which would be too cumbersome.

Two Ideas Come Time Mind

  1. A dashlet that supports a list of website links
  2. Creating a Generic Account called “Vendors” and created a note for each weblink . Still cumbersome since it does not support an activity object just for a weblink;also cannot create a hypertext link from within a note.

Any Thoughts as I’m probably missing something obvious here?

You could in theory develop a custom module to handle this.
