I am having issues trying to open emails on some browsers and tablet systems with the new 7.4.
I think i have found a simple solution to the problem.

If you just add a open email button to the bottom frame it would resolve the issue.

Thanks for your suggestion. The Emails module is something we will look to improve in future versions.
