Changing Industry type data fields

I have a request from our team to change the names of the Industry Type in the Accounts module so we can have it more closely reflect what out customer base does. Is this possible, and how does it affect the reporting if I edit the Industry Name Types?

Hi,
You can go to “Admin>>Studio>>Accounts>>Fields” and open “Industry” field and can modify the “industry_dom” values.

Please note that you can only change option labels from there. If you only change the field label, then reports will not be effected. They just show the new label.
If you want to change the back-end value of options, then some back-end work will be required. You also have to run a database query to update previous records option value.
