New to Sugar CRM and was wondering if it was possible to change the behavior of inline editing in detail view.
Is it possible to change it so that when a field is double clicked (or pencil icon clicked) in detail view, instead of the inline editor, is it possible to change to the full edit view instead?
I’ve found the inline editing to be rather buggy, particularly with addresses.
Inline edit functionality means you can change the value of the field in the detail view without refreshing the current page that saves a lot of time of the User.
The edit view and detail view are different pages and I am afraid, it’s not possible to open the edit view on the click of the pencil icon of the field in the detail view.
