Case creation via emal


I need to know how a case can be created via email.


See the Documentation about “Group emails”. That name is not very appropriate, it does allow more than one person to handle the email, but an important element of Group emails is that there is automatic handling for them.

Thank you for reply, I have configured Inbound email under admin and set Create Case from Email to true and I gave a template to New Case Auto-Reply Template. The problem is when a case is generated through email auto reply has been sent with that template body but the variables are not being populated. They are showing as written in the template like $acase_name [CASE:$acase_case_number] .

Is it a bug or my mistake? I need help on this.
