Can't Set Default Values for Fields

Hello all,

For some strange reason I am unable to set default values for my fields. While searching through the SugarCRM support site, it appears I’m supposed to have that option when editing the field but that option isn’t there (see screenshot below). Am I missing something?

Can anybody help me out on this issue?

The Dynamic DropDown field does not allow a default value. as there is a parent dropdown.

Oh, I did not realize that. Thanks for pointing that out Ian. I guess I need to use the regular dropdown type instead of dynamic. I appreciate the response, thanks.
