Cannot send test mail in Outgoing mail configuration, getting "Error:You must provide at least one recipient email address."

I am trying to configure my outgoing mail address with SMTP but I keep getting the screen saying “One moment please…” when trying to send a test mail. After a while I finally get a message saying “Error:You must provide at least one recipient email address.” (which is not true). I used the exact same configuration when doing this on a localhost and I have no problems. I am now trying on the CPanel’s SuiteCRM installation but I get this error.
