Can you include fields from different tables in a campaign template?

I regularly develop email campaigns. In the message body I personalize the message by including the target persons’ names. I want to also include in the body of the message the persons’ Account Name.

Can someone show me how to accomplish this?

I have tried inserting these fields:
$contact_account_name
$prospect_account_name
$lead_account_name
$account_name

None of these work.

Help??
