I am running 8 to manage my business. Not having options outside of purple and pink is insanity. I’ve been trying to get some kind of neutral coloring so that I can launch a professional looking system with partial success. I set up my own styling sheet like Dawn, but it changes the main styling without changing the navigation. Where / how do I change my navigation header colors? I’ve wasted so much time on this. When I searched this issue, it’s been a problem for years now??
the theme is questionable and some people don’t like it.
In general it could/should look more modern.
However, the styling is seldom a business requirement in CRM systems, that’s likely the reason why it had a lower priority.
Just recently the theme topic surfaced on the roadmap for 8.11:
SuiteCRM is a bit behind schedule (compared to the Gantt chart further down on the roadmap), so probably around this year late spring / summer.
If you can wait that long, maybe everything you’re looking for will be there out of the box.
It’s kind of amazing to me with all the wonderful things SuiteCRM does and the fact that it’s free and open source and generally just a great CRM, the #1 complaint I get from many client installs is about the colors.
