Can we add a field which can have Month details only

Hi Folks,

I am having a requirement from business: I need to add a new field in Lead which can capture only Month details, like we generate a lead and we can have option to choose the month only not the whole date.

So that in the quarter/year end sales team can filter the data month wise.

One of our clients had a similar request
This is not a standard field

We added 2 dropdowns

“Year” - 2012,2013, etc
“Month” - Jan, Feb, >> Dec

This allows users to select month and year and you can report on these as conditions
Admin users will just have to maintain the “Year” dropdown
