When we create a new user and save the user with a password, the new user is unable to log on to the SuiteCRM 8.8. It seems the SuiteCRM security.yaml is not allowing symphony to generate a usable hash string in the SQL database. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Usually, the user will get an email with username & password. What are you trying to do?
There is a bug in SuiteCRM 8. where if the username already exists or if the password strength rules are not met or any other backend validation error . it does not show you the error properly
Try going to admin → Password Management → clear the password security settings
There is another thing as well that one of @ or ! is not considered as special character in SuiteCRM
