I want to show only certain modules to a new user who signs up. Let’s say they are Accounts/Contacts and Quotes. Is there any default modules configuration where we can set this up for User Preferences?
I assume a new user security group or role that take precedence over all other might do the trick. You could enable this using a workflow.
I have tried this, assigned them restricted roles but the MENU config does not work. They do see the menu option but can not access the module. I want to have a config where we can set the “Display modules” settings for a user as his default preference.
