Can I change required field in web to lead form?

The “Last Name” field is required for web to lead form. I would rather have this as a custom field I have created. I have changed it in the studio for lead records but the lead form hasn’t picked up on these changes.

Where do I specify required fields on the web to lead form?

You can manage if a field is required or not in Admin -> Studio -> Leads -> Fields.

This will then reflect in the person form(new web to lead form).

I changed the required status but it does not reflect on the web to lead form. Last name is still required.

I got around this by adding via the API instead of webtolead form.
