Calendar Question

We have SuiteCRM Version 7.1.4 / Sugar Version 6.5.18 (Build 1110) installed on our CENTOS server. While we are rookies at CRM, we are quite familiar with database application setup and installation on this platform.

We are seeing behavior in the Calendar feature that has us a bit bewildered. It seems to be shared by all of our users, and we have spent a good deal of time on this, so I don’t think it very likely that this is simply a user understanding error. Tried using multiple browsers with similar results, so I don’t think it is a browser issue. Not sure if this is something that didn’t get installed correctly or if this is a bug that is common to the application. Here is what we are seeing:

-When you bring up a calendar, it defaults to Month view, and it shows all of my individual calls and meetings. So far so good.
-When I select Day, Week, or “Shared”, the view changes (to day or week) but there is a blank screen where the calendar should be. I have found that by either maximizing or un-maximizing the window I can make it appear.
-None of my calls or meetings show in either day or week view. If I click on Month I can see my calls and meetings again. Then if I click on Day, Week, or Shared, I see nothing until I maximize / un-maximize the window, at which point I only see an empty calendar.
-In no case am I able to see anyone elses calendar. This despite the fact that I’ve clicked “Shared” and then clicked “User List” and selected everyone’s calendar (as they have done in their browser for me as well.)

I’m not sure where to turn. Any ideas are appreciated…

Chris

Sounds like a browser problem to me. What browser are you using (and is it on the list of supported). The page may appear to be blank but if you “view source” do you then see the data you expect? If so then it indicates the problem is client-side (and probably a browser-related problem).

Hope this helps.

Seeing the problem in the latest versions of IE, Mozilla, and Chrome. Doesn’t really seem to indicate that it is a browser issue. :-/
