Calendar Not Subject to Security Roles (SuiteCRM 7)

I’m finding the “meetings” show on everyone’s shared calendar even when the user is in the role “sales rep” and the role “sales rep” is limited to only seeing Meetings if they are the owner.

I see some posts about this back from 2015 being a bug, but no open bug report on Github. Anyone else experience this issue or is it just me?

Maybe, it is never fixed. I think you should raise a bug on the GitHub.

Ok so I’ve thouroughly tested. This ONLY occurs in SuiteCRM 7. SuiteCRM works as expected.

Since I think the Calendar is legacy module in SuiteCRM 8, it “should” be the same as SuiteCRM 7. So maybe one file is not in sync.

I’ll open a bug and see if I can find the source of the problem.
