Calendar linked to invoices or events etc

Hi,

I am configuring suiteCRM for use with a music agency who need an event management type CRM system.

SuiteCRM has a calendar which is great but how can i configure it so that I can create an invoice or opportunity or events show up on the calendar?
This is an essential part of the system for us.

This would require code customisations to the Calendar within SuiteCRM.
