Bulk Updating Data Fields

Hi folks,
So i went under ‘all’ then ‘quotes’ and generated a list by searching (searched list by custom field).
The resulting list has checkboxes.
I selected certain of the list and then selected ‘mass update’.
What I was expecting to be able to do is go into one of them and then update one field and have that same field selected for all of the ones I selected from the list.

But nothing happened.

Is there not a way to bulk update fields in suite crm?

the “mass update” menu appears at the bottom of the page, if you’re on top of the page you won’t see it, scroll down and you will see it
