Brand name usage: use SuiteCRM, not Suite

A recent pull request try to change SugarCRM references for SuiteCRM references but some options are questionable.

Removing Sugar references is very important to make languages better but don’t fall in the same errors then “Sugar” files did!

You all are aware of the previous usage of Sugar as in “My sugar” but this would be a joke when using “My Suite”.
Suite is not a brand and is not the application name.

So: Please don’t use just “suite” but full brand name “SuiteCRM”.

Also public shouldn’t get messages form the SuiteCRM application disclosing its name as it is irrelevant for the user and less professional for the companies managing their installed CRM.

SalesAgility should create a rule on name usage on language files.

[i]As in:

  • Always use “SuiteCRM” in full
  • Respect capitalization of the brand name as in: SuiteCRM
  • Use “SuiteCRM” on administrations tasks and messages
  • Use generic “CRM” for tasks and messages aimed to SuiteCRM users / public [/i]

So please revise this pull request (I could do that but would prefer to have a formal say from SalesAgility to avoid some revising war!)

Changed References of SugarCRM to SuiteCRM in English/Spanish/Russian Language files where possible.

Same John that made the Pull Request here.

I Appreciate the feedback, I’ll get onto changing instances of ‘Suite’ to ‘SuiteCRM’ as soon as I can.
Choosing “Suite” instead of “SuiteCRM” in some instances was more of an Aesthetic Choice, but you make a good point about Brand Usage.

If you have any more ideas/pointers, they are always welcome.

Con you please merge this pull request into master git?

This changes 89 files and has major impact on translations, so we need this merged in order to update master language files and revise translations in Transifex https://www.transifex.com/rberec/suitecrm/
