I just fresh installed suitecrm on an fresh install ubuntu server. All went relatively smoothly until I went to log in to
localhost/suitecrm/index.php?module=Home&action=index
I get a black screen.
Accepts admin passsword, just wont go any farther.
Suggestions?
Ensure permissions are set correctly. As you are running ubuntu, we advise:
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data .
sudo chmod -R 755 .
sudo chmod -R 775 cache custom modules themes data upload config_override.php

Thanks so much. There was an issue with permissions earlier & I completely forgot to resolve. FYI, the last line sudo chmod -R 775 cache custom modules themes data upload config_override.php reverted with no folders for those elements so instead I changed the www/html/ folder to 775. seems to be working now
I have the same mistake but i use windows…What shall i do? Help please
