Blank screen after Module Builder DEPLOY?

I’ve been developing in Module Builder. Today, when I went to deploy the latest, SuiteCRM appeared to hang at the “deploying…” spinner. I waited quite some time (45 minutes) and nothing happened. Now, when I go back into my SuiteCRM, it prompts me for my username and password, which it accepts, but then shows me only a blank, white screen.

Please help! I need to get this working!

Have you checked your log files to see if there is anything in them indicating a problem?

Fortunately, I had a very-recent backup that I was able to copy over, and it started working properly again. Very strange.

I am glad the back up worked for you. If you still have the logs, you should take a look at them because everything happens for a reason.

Have you found a solution - we are having the same issue and our dev is troubleshooting - we will post an update if we find the issue.

What version of SuiteCRM are you using? If it is SuiteCRM 7.3 then this may be an issue caused by Inline editing.

We were using 7.3.0 – it was an issue related to inline editing - in the VAR DEFS for modules created by the module builder - the ‘TRUE/FALSE’ value for inline editing was empty - once we entered TRUE – it solved the white screen - however - we still could not deploy the custom module.

We intstalled a fresh copy of 7.3.1 - and recreated module in module builder - and all seems fine - we were not able to reproduce the error.

one thing that we think may have been an issue was creating the relationship in the module builder – versus post deploy via studio?? we have moved on with successful 7.3.1 and will watch out for the break again.
