batch reassign account and contact

Hi, i am trying to reassign a batch of contact and account from one user to another, is there any option to do a batch assign?

View of the module (accounts or contacts), select all the records you wish to change and select mass update. At the bottom of the screen you will see a form that appears. You can change the assigned to field and select update.

Can we remove an account already assigned to the user.
