Auto add some texts when checkbox is checked

Hi, I would like to add some texts when a checkbox is checked

For example, if the member is a Silver Member, there will be “(Silver)” after his name in Member field

I tried to use workflow, but there is a problem if I update the member’s tier, the workflow is just adding data to Member_c previous value
