Attachment Field Setup in Suite CRM 8.9.0

I am setting up a new SuiteCRM 8.9.0 instance and want to use the Attachment Field to store files locally as described in the documentation here: Attachment Field Configuration :: SuiteCRM Documentation

It appears I canā€™t use Studio to add this type as ā€˜attachmentā€™ or ā€˜fileā€™ are not field type options. So the field needs to be created directly in the Vardefs instead?

Not sure what files I need to edit to add the field.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
