Attach a PDF Template to a Case through workflow automation


Is there any way of doing this through workflow - it doesn’t seem that there is. For 5 years people have been asking for the ability to attach a PDF template to an Email (including through workflow automation). Again and again, this is totally ignored by the Development Team. Those that achieve it never publish their code. Is this just entirely beyond Suite CRM and, if so, what the goodness is the point in having PDF functionality since you might as well use Microsoft Mail Merge and print the darn things yourself to PDF or simply attach them manually in Outlook or Thunderbird B-)
