Are attachments in notes sorted in the database or the cache folder? I’m guessing they are in the cache folder, the implications being that the database and the Suite files need to co-exist in order to keep all the data intact. Have I got this right, or are word docs etc. stored in the database?

Documents are stored in an encoded form in the uploads folder in the root directory. They are safe. 
Good to know - thanks. I was just curious because Suite very different from Wordpress. Basically, everything of note is in the database and the files just ‘sit there’ and can be edited if needs be. Suite on the other hand with it’s permissions, cache folder and so on… there’s not really much of a comparison!
