Archive Email - Leads

In the Leads module, in the History part, there is a dropdown called “Archive Email”.
In 7.8.6 this looks almost like a composing of an email.
In 7.9.5 this looks totally different and many fields are missing.

Is this a bug or a new feature` Anyone knows? I would like to have the same functionality as in 7.8.6, what do I have to do?

If you can include screenshots, that helps visitors of this thread quickly get an idea of what you mean.

to see if it works differently there? Though you might run into problems if the demo does not have any configured email account…

  1. I have attached an image when you are in the Leads module, have opened a lead and then go to History -> Archive Email.
  2. Attached an image how it looks in 7.8.3.
  3. Attached and image how it looks in 7.9.5.

This is puzzling…

Quick question: are both email accounts similar? Both POP, or both IMAP? Which one?

We’re note using the email-functionality as such. We use this functionality to store information, like an “email-note”. So neither POP or IMAP…

Why not use the Notes?

I guess you’re just stumbling onto something that was never tested. If there are no email accounts, the Email module doesn’t work as expected. Maybe in 7.8.x it did (to some extent), but then I would jut say you were lucky…
