Api V8 POST Requests not working

I’m trying to use the API V8 to create a note record but it just won’t work. I can get the access token, get modules, get fields and records, but when I try to make a POST request I get a 404 error.

I have checked my .htaccess and the rewrites look correct, I have tried rebuilding them just to be sure. I have also tried using the longer version of the url “/Api/index.php/V8/modules”

I have also checked all my file permissions to make sure there isn’t some sort of permissions error.

Has anyone else had an issue with post commands using the V8 API or have any idea why my GET commands are working but the POST fail? I can provide my cURL if necessary

Figured it out. Turns out you need to supply an id when creating records. Don’t know how we are expected to generate the id in the proper format, and also make sure the id doesn’t already exist, but either way solved my issue.
