aop_Case_updates for custom modules

Has anyone implemented this functionality of the cases module in a custom module??

I can’t figure out if it’s a subpanel or a field. The layout is like a subpanel but I can’t find its definition anywhere in the code

It can be done but it will be a lot of work.

I think in SuiteCRM v8 there will be a more generic mechanism that can be applied to more modules…
