I’m trying to set up SuiteCRM for a client, who is switching from an ancient version of ACT!
One complaint he has is when creating a multiple day event on the calendar, it only shows up on / blocks off the last day / end date.
From what I can tell this is how SuiteCRM was designed, but creates issues with my client, who needs to be able to quickly look at the calendar to see available dates. When the dates aren’t visually blocked off, this process becomes very slow and tedious. Perhaps there is a reason it is like this, I think it’s been like this since SugarCRM, but I don’t understand why this would be beneficial in any way. I’ve never seen a calendar function like this.
The closest solution I’ve found is a git comment from 2+ years ago that someone solved it on their own, but I guess the code wasn’t accepted into the main repo. (Nor could I find the code.)
For reference, here is a “normal” calendar (google calendar):
And SuiteCRM
(This event date spans from the 6th through the 20th, but only shows on the 20th)
Thank you for your time!
