Am I using SuiteCRM wrong? Just want one place to see all activity.

I encounter a new opportunity for which there is no account, so I create both.
I later act on the opportunity by contacting them via a form on the prospects own web page, so there is no email but there is a block of text which is sent.
I go to the opportunity and create a document in the history view into which I paste that text so we can refer to it later. I check by drilling down from opportunites and see the document is present.

This has happened several times. I can’t remember which account had activity, so I go to the account history and there’s nothing there. If I go to the account opportunities I see the entry. That’s daft. I want to see everything that’s happened under the account. The document I described should be in the account history view.

Unless someone here knows better?
