I am currently running SuiteCRM version 7.11.18 and noticed 7.11.20 is out for an upgrade. I am running the SuiteP theme and I went into the editviewdefs and detailviewdefs files of each module and added a two extra columns for a four-column layout across my site. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is upgrade safe because it was a very time consuming process and I wouldn’t want to do it all over again.

It depends were you did the changes. To make them upgrade save you need to do it on the under the Custom folder.
