The Activities layout under Project is useful because it has a EDIT drop down on the right allowing you to CLOSE the Task activity, meaning it is complete and it is moved to History. However you cannot edit the layout of this panel. I would like to select the type of Task by drop down instead of having to type it every time but this cannot be done because the layout is not changeable.
In the Project Tasks panel, you cannot edit the task to signify it is complete, so I cannot use this for tasks, as the task list would build up to a giant list.
So either allow us to edit the Task Activities layout OR add a facility to Project Tasks to enable old tasks to be transferred to History.
