After Importing of email and blank page is being shown due to emoji in email

Hi All,

i have an issue of when trying to import an email that contains an emoji :slight_smile: I get a blank page.
On looking at the log I can see the below.

MySQL error 1366: Incorrect string value: ‘\xF0\x9F\x98\x8A\x0D\x0A’ for column ‘description’ at row 1

I have tried this on Suitecrm version:
7.10.2
7.10.4
7.9.7

And get the same issue on all three.

Has anyone had the same issue and if so could they share how did they resolve it ?

Yes,

That is it.

I take it that there is no patch as couldn’t see one on GitHub.

I will search on the forum to see if anyone has changed the database character set without detrimentally impacting the application.
