I’m not sure if i am mossing something, bit i am trying to add users to a role and the select user button is missing. I am using 8.7.0. I haves testing this again my suitecrm 7 server and the button is there. is it done differently at suitecrm8?
I have search for alternative ways of doing this, and not having any joy!

I have found how to apply the roles to the users via security groups.
so the user i wanted to apply these roles to is in the user security groups and it seems to have applied the correct permissions. but still not show in the user subpanel.
IS this correct and just how v8 works?
hi any idea in this im also facing the same error. actually i upgraded my suite crm from7.10.9 to 8.8.0… almost all the modules are running fine but in the users module some behavioural issues im facing

In SuiteCRM 8 (including 8.7.0), the “Select User” button was removed from the Role screen, because v8 expects you to assign roles through Security Groups instead of directly to users so you add users to a Security Group, add the role to that same group, and the users inherit the role automatically.
