Adding dashlets

Running SuiteCRM 7.8.31 and I want a user to be able to add dashlets to his dashlet screen. He is able to delete existing dashlets but when trying to add a new one from among the choices, nothing happens.

I have not been able to find any setting among the Administrator settings where I can enable user adding dashlets.

Have I missed something?

There is a setting for that within the system settings, but I don’t think it is the issue:

if the checkbox is set, users can only delete dashlets, but they can’t re-arrange them or create new ones. The problem: if this checkbox is set, the UI elements to add dashlets are hidden, and your issue sounds like the users are still able to reach them.

Is maybe the third shown setting the issue (that the respective user already uses 15 dashlets)?

I am on SuiteCRM 7.8.31 and do not have that setting in the Admin menu. Is there another setting I should look for?

The user has only three dashlets, ie far below the limit of 15 you mention.

Anything else I can check?
