Adding a Google Map to a Module

I have followed the instructions to show a “contacts address”, as a Google Map from a contacts record.

After implementing the above instructions, inputing my own “Google Key”, checked URL syntax and running “quick repair & rebuild”, I can see the new map iframe window displayed in contact record but inside the window it shows the following error. [color=#ff0000]“The Google Maps API server rejected your request. This API project is not authorized to use this API.”[/color]

Please help.

I don’t know much about maps, but if you could use the JJWG maps included with SuiteCRM I think you would be much better off than following SugarCRM instructions. They also rely on Google Maps, don’t worry.

I’ve seen people asking about that Google API problem, there an issue for that on GitHub…

(it’s better if you repeat your SuiteCRM version whenever you post, or include it in your signature… it gets confusing for me, trying to help so many people here)

How to resolve this?

for stuff related to the Google API. I know there were a few discussions there, but I didn’t follow them very closely…
