Add the SuiteCRM Store to the Quick Links

I would like to suggest adding a direct link to the SuiteCRM Store in the Quick Links section of SuiteCRM.

As far as I can see, the Community link has already been integrated directly into SuiteCRM. I think it would make sense to integrate the Store in a similar way, as is done on other platforms.

One concern is that many SuiteCRM users may not be aware that the Store exists. In many cases, users may only discover it when they encounter a specific problem and start searching for a solution.

By making the Store easily accessible directly from SuiteCRM, we could introduce users to available solutions much earlier — even when they are just starting to explore SuiteCRM.

For example, a user might be looking for a specific feature or functionality that is not available out of the box. Having a visible Store link would make it much easier for them to discover existing add-ons instead of having to search for solutions elsewhere.

I believe this could be a relatively small change with several benefits:

  • Increase awareness of the SuiteCRM Store.

  • Help users discover available add-ons more easily.

  • Give ISVs and developers more visibility.

  • Provide users with potential solutions before they encounter a critical need.

  • Create a stronger connection between the SuiteCRM application and its ecosystem.

It seems like a simple improvement, but I think it could have a positive impact on both users and the SuiteCRM ecosystem.

What do you think? Would it make sense to add the Store alongside the existing Community link in Quick Links?

That’s a good idea! :light_bulb:

It would be great if the SuiteCRM team could add a link to the SuiteCRM Store under the profile dropdown.

Yes, Agree. It should be a simple link to store.

Idea: Create a “Store Plugins” Category on the SuiteCRM Community Forum

Building on the idea of making the SuiteCRM Store more visible, I think the SuiteCRM Team could also create a dedicated “Store Plugins” category on the Community Forum.

Plugin providers and developers could use this category to introduce their plugins, share updates, explain new features, and provide information about how their solutions work. Community members could then ask questions, share feedback, discuss their experiences, and help each other with plugin-related topics.

This could create a more active connection between SuiteCRM users, plugin providers, and the SuiteCRM Store.

The existing Store could remain the place for discovering and purchasing plugins, while the “Store Plugins” forum category could become the community discussion area around those plugins.

I think this would complement the suggestion to add the SuiteCRM Store to Quick Links and help build a stronger ecosystem around SuiteCRM and its plugin providers.
