Add a call to a Contract?

When I set the Renewal Reminder Date on a Contract, it creates a Call assigned to the Contract Manager. With our Contracts, we want to create another Call with a different time, but I can’t find any way to create a call and associate it with a Contract.

When I create a new Call, Contract is not an option in the Related To dropdown. When I edit an existing Call based on the Renewal Reminder Date, the Related To values are cleared out.

On the Contract, there is no subpanel for a Call.

In Studio there is an existing relationship “aos_contracts_calls” with Contracts as the Primary Module and a One To Many relationship to Calls.

What am I missing?

Which version of the CRM are you on?

Strangely, I do seem to have “Contracts” as an option on Calls/Meetings, on 7.11.20:

However, the Activity/History Subpanel is not found on Contracts out of the box, so you won’t see the Calls against the Contract itself.

You should be able to add this through Admin->Studio, as follows:

  • Go to Admin->Studio
  • Select “Contracts”
  • Select “Relationships”
  • Click “Add Relationship”
  • On the right-hand side, select “Activities”, like so:

Then click “Save & Deploy”

If you navigate back to the Contracts Module, you should then see Calls related to Contracts:
