I found this problem after upgrading to 8.6.2.

If you edit a random record of Accounts, Contacts, Opportunity writing in the description field a sentence containing an accented character (àèìòù for example) you can see

The problem is in 8.7.0 version too
The problem is in 8.7.1 version too …
For me this feature is important, more time passes an descriptions in contacts/notes become illegibile
All my users continues to ask me how long the problem will persist, a big pressure for me that choose suitecrm.
Is there a way to accellerate the fix process ?
You can apply the fix manually in your system.
Be careful and create backups of the files you change, before messing with them.
You might need a Quick Repair and Rebuild (or even Symfony cache:clear from the command-line) to make changes effective. If you do it from the command-line be careful not to break permissions and ownerships.
