Hi, just joined and thanks for any help. Is anyone familiar with the ability to have a pop up or something like that for meeting reminder .any ideas would be appreciated. Maybe plug in or chrome extension of google calendar sync ? any direction would be appreciated

So, SuiteCRM has alert module and it will display the meeting in it. What kind of pop up are you looking and why?
as a sales person I have a lot of calls and other items taking away focus. Any sort of pop-up or notice - like an alarm (just like a google calendar alarm) really helps

I develop for SuiteCRM but I don’t have that much user experience on it…
Are your schedulers running? You’d have to have your cron jobs set up for that.
Go in Admin / Schedulers and enter the Reminders job and check the Last ran successfully field. Is it recent? Is it in the correct timezone? Are any other jobs running?
I’ve had it running for years. There is no “popup” But you get a notification highlighed on the “bell” and when you click the bell there is a notification there.
At least in SuiteCRM these popup notifications work after you have enabled them from Profile → Advanced → Enable desktop notifications
After this if you create a meeting or call with popup notifications
when the notification is due you get a popup like below
Interesting. Ive had it enabled for yesrs and have never seen that! Im going to play with re enabling it to see if I get thr popup.

Mine appears to be bugged out. I guess that’s why it never poped up. A bug to chase for another day…
