7.2 beta Project Manager features

Hi,

It looks like the Project manager suite built into the latest SuiteCRM 7.2 beta is the same as the SugarCRM project suite described at

however several features are absent.

Can I somehow include, or will you be including, the following features …

  • Menu items
    – Export to MSProject
    – Save as template

  • Team assignment (currently only has project manager assignment).

  • Inline editing in the Gantt (see attached image).

  • Many additional menu items in the Gantt (see attached image).

Otherwise, is it possible for me to remove the built-in PM and install the Sugar PM extension?
Where would I find such instructions.

That is a SugarCRM Paid for extension, which is not available for SugarCRM CE or SuiteCRM.

So does that mean that I cannot install it into SuiteCRM even if I buy it?

Yes. SuiteCRM/SugarCRM CE are the open source free versions of SugarCRM, which have a different code base/working than SugarCRM paid for/proprietary versions.

If the plug-in was confirmed to work with CE, that would be different.
